ALLISON ROSSET, M.S., R.P.
Registered Psychotherapist
Allison completed her Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counselling at Niagara University and post-graduate diploma in McMaster’s Clinical Behavioural Sciences program, focusing on Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT). Allison’s training in CBT has focused on obsessive-compulsive, phobias, anxiety, and related difficulties with youth, emerging adults, adults, and families. Allison’s clinical work has included inpatient and outpatient care in both private and public health settings.

Allison is passionate about working with emerging adults and adults who are struggling with OCD, phobias, anxiety, and a variety of personal difficulties and life transitions. Allison has a warm and kind approach to psychotherapy and maintains a practice rooted in empathy, compassion, and non-judgement. She is deeply touched by those that entrust her with their innermost thoughts, feelings and vulnerabilities, and honours the safe space of therapy with the utmost care and gratitude.

Allison’s training has focused on Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Exposure Therapy/Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), and Prolonged Exposure (PE) for PTSD. Allison has completed training through The Traumatology Institute in Toronto, Ontario and practices with a Clinical Traumatologist (TITC-CT) designation. She has additional training in Perinatal Grief and Loss.

Allison is a member in good standing of the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO), the Canadian Association of Cognitive and Behavioural Therapies (CACBT), and the International OCD Foundation (OCDF).
